This site is a receptacle for information concerning the genus Viola, which is my main interest. I provide some information on higher taxa and peer genera for context, but because I know little about such taxa, I am relying on input from folks using this site -you- to improve the amount and quality of information on those other taxa. So if you disagree with the information here, or if you have further information to add (including Viola), please let me know.
I am happy for cultivated plant registrars (ICRAs) to host their registers here; please get in touch.
Such registers would be located directly under the genus concerned, since there are no denomination groups that span genera in Violaceae, and none of these genera have more than one denomination group.
